It's sad because you never really know why a person is homeless. You never know what a person has gone through in till you've been through it yourself.
People like to discriminate, criticize, and disrespect the homeless when they have no idea what brought them to that point. The way the world looks at homeless people is shameful. A lot of people are afraid or feel like they're better when in reality it could be one of them. There's all different kinds of reasons people are homeless.
I could have been homeless had I not had my mom in my life.
A lot of people think that the homeless will use their money on drugs and alcohol and to be honest, they probably will but who cares. At the end of the day you get to go home to your family and they don't. That should be enough of a reason to humble yourself to at least be kind to the homeless. Even if you don't have anything to give your kindness is enough. I'm sure the homeless person would appreciate that. Like I said, you never know what a person has went through and you never know what situation led them there. It could be you.
-I created new paragraphs from your single response to show you where I read different ideas/topics. Try developing these ideas fully in your article and seeing what topic you'd like to pursue
-you have one section where you touch on homeless stereotypes- develop this. What are negative stereotypes and/or representations of the homeless and how are they created? Do they affect us as a society and if so what is that result look like?
- you mention a section about your personal experience and how you could of have been homeless. Is this something that you would write about in your final article? how would you use your personal info to back up your position in your article?
-it seems like what you want to write about is negative stereotypes and representations of the homeless and how they affect us. It also seems that you feel this is not right and we should think more carefully about these as well as be more mindful of how we judge and treat others. If this is the case, then state this and back up your point
