through the glasses is what white
people envision what black people are seen as tattooed up doing illegal stuff
which makes them afraid of black people but through the cracks of the glasses
there is a different black person being portrayed. One instead of holding a gun
he is holding a phone wearing a necklaces that hold a cross with a bottle of
soda in his hand. What it seems like is that whenever an innocent young male of
color is killed this is how they are seen as and are not given a fair chance at
life. This picture shows how not just white people see blacks but if we flipped
the script how blacks would see whites. As kids we were taught that police were
to protect and to serve you but now whenever I see a cop my first instance is
hope they ask question first and shoot later not the other way around if the
system gave people of color a fair chance at life I'm sure their would be a
better chance at racism disappearing.
