My first impression of both Jamilla Lyiscott and Anzulda , is that both describe how languages depending on home school friends have rules . When and where they can use those languages. Jamilla says she uses the language because her's was stolen and raped and is why her English is broken . Anzulda talks about a how she is punished for speaking in her native tongue , how she was punshied for trying to tell the teacher how to correctly say her name . Both talk about trying to overcome being able to talk more then one language and being judged for it depending where they are. How they have to conform to where they are to blend in and not make a big scene , now I see how it is to have a different identity among others . The way I have always seen it people are all different , if we all are different why do we have to talks to the same ?
