I chose the song "Don't Laugh At Me" by Mark Wills and the genre of this song is Contemporary Country Music. This song is about kids, teenager moms, and homeless people that have suffer from some type of bullying to them. people from different ages that aren't happy with the way other's treat them, and how they ask for a better treatment from their oppressors.

What the lyrics say about the social issue of bullying is that there are kids who never smile because of braces and because they're chosen last on the playground. The lyrics also talk about teenage moms that for some reason  have to overcome their present reality now, with the responsibility of taking care of a child. The song says "don't have to be my friend, just don't laugh at me". The lyrics of this song also talk about a homeless who is ignored by others on the street.

Mark will is a well-known American Country music singer that started his professional singing career in the year 1996 with his debut album called " Eponymous". This song was written by writer's Steve Seskin and Allen Shamblin and recorded by Mark Wills. According to the background information of this song, Allen Shamblin was inspired to writing this song due to the fact that one day his daughter came home from school and telling him that she was being picked on by other kids at school. The girl told her dad that she was being bullied because of her freckles. This song became a No.2 song on the country charts and leading to the Billboards Hot 100 songs. This song has also become an anti-bullying theme for other videos. The song itself has its own video to it that totally backs up the issue that the lyrics talk about which is bullying.

The art piece I chose for my social Issue bullying is called "The Eyes" by Amr Elshamy from (cairo Egypt). This art piece has no words but it shows a little kid walking across the school parking lot by himself, and in front of him there are three gigantic monsters with horns that seem to be looking at him like if they were waiting for him to get to where they are. The image also shows a foggy ambience a sort of cold and lonely moment. This piece of art clearly tells the viewers how kids who are molested and pick on see their aggressors and in this case the bully. That is what the bullied compare the bully with. They see bullies as gigantic monsters waiting to hunt them and hurt them. The artist did this piece of art based on his personal  experience on being bullied. He says that he was bullied all his life but he found an escape door through art. Amr Elshamy talks about how he was affected by bullies when he was in school and how he had to skip school days do to the aggression towards him. Elshamy's piece of "The Eyes" was created as part of the Bully Project Mural, The Mosaic Art For A Movement by Lee Hirsch, the filmmaker behind the 2012 bully documentary.
